We at Tauruspack have long been committed to the environment, working hard every day to find ways to alleviate the environmental impact on our beloved planet.
We are very happy to announce that from now on we will start implementing two fundamental compromises:
1- WE WILL PLANT TREES FOR BAGS DELIVERED.
For every 5,000 bags delivered, we will plant a tree through Treedom, with the purpose of mitigating CO2 emissions and deforestation, as well as protecting biodiversity and promoting sustainable food production.
Treedom is a fully transparent platform when making this undertaking. Therefore, each tree is photographed at the time of planting, will be geolocated and will even have an online page to follow the history of the project it will be part of. In this way, they can always be monitored.
2. WE WILL SUPPORT "GOLD STANDARD" CERTIFIED PROJECTS ON A QUARTERLY BASIS.
To take responsibility for our carbon footprint, we will contribute 5% of our quarterly net profits to projects that are certified as Gold Standard.
Each project to which we will contribute will be announced in this new "BLOG" section, so that you can always be properly updated and informed about it.
This is a chapter that has just begun, but on which we are strongly committed to work every day to improve and implement these and new measures in order to achieve our goal.
